Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in the country a short while ago on a two day-visit.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will hold talks with Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The meeting is aimed at promoting bilateral trade and investment between Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
Sri Lanka currently has a free-trade agreement with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, several MoUs to enhance bilateral cooperation will also be signed during the visit.
He is expected to participate in a joint ‘Trade and Investment Conference’ during his two-day stay in the country.
